We've decided it was no longer possible to keep playing as internecine.
The past week or so we've tried to find players to plug the gaps left by people going semi active and wanting to go their own way. There are no players looking for teams that would fit us. A shame because we had a core 5 for 8months and a core 4 for nearly a year. We achieved a few awards but we feel we were so much better than what they represented and its pretty shit we never got the chance to show that to everyone else. Alot of investment went into creating and running this team by most of the members in the team.
I'm sure we've had our fair share of disagreements and squabbles but everyone who's passed through this team I have been lucky to play with such cool guys and I have enjoyed playing the awesome game TF2 with you;

I'd like to apologise to Dusty who made the hard decision to leave his then current team (Team Stinson) after being with them for 6months. It must of been a hard decision because they all seem like great guys. To him we lasted 19 days and it's put him in a shit situation.
I've said truthfully what I feel about you in your recruitment post(part2=[), GL man.
One day if the timing is right for all of us I hope we can play together once again.

Apologies If you infact do have a coloured parent dusty, and you are actually dusty in real life.
We found our new demoman, Dusty. Not alot to say really, I've always rated him and thought he was a great player whenever I've played against him and its hard not to notice him when you're playing a div2 mix and at the point he's dominating 5 out of 6 players hes 13 frags clear of anyone else. Welcome to internecine Dusty! We're lucky to have you!

Today Spary decided to part ways with the team. Dan was 1 of the 5 (4 now remain) original core members and in actual fact was the first person I asked to join when I decided to 'build' the team. He was the first person I clicked with in TF2 when I moved over from Counter Strike in June 2009. I'll definitely miss him loads and things wont feel the same for a little while I guess.

This leaves us with the shitty task of finding a demoman literally days before the week 1 game deadline hits us in the new season of etf2l. So because of recent events I wont discuss on here, coupled with my graphics card overheating every 20mins, Alex melting his and having to use a fx5200 card which serves him a nice portion of 20fps then deciding the internals of his pc needed teaching a fucking lesson we've pretty much been inactive for as long as I care to remember, only playing for officials and getting the very occasional PCW our form has obviously taken a slump. So not only do we need to find the best fitting demoman we can, we've got to do it running at about 30%. Which isn't going to attract the sort of player we want.
So as it stands, because Alex fucked his pc we cant even begin trialling till Weds(17th)/Thurs(18th) never mind settling back into some sort of routine. These are indeed testing times, but we're quite the avid gamers so I guess we'll have to accept it and pull through. I hope seeing through this rough couple of months by actually sticking together will pay dividends in the weeks/months to come.

We played our first official of the new TF2 season yesterday. It was a Wireplay division 1 season 5 game vs enixe and in the true internecine fashion we went into the game completely cold having not played for a couple of days. However, down to some superb play by all but a special mention must go to Greg & Alex our soldiers who fucking rocked it we managed to win the first map (fastlane) 4-0 and went on to win the second (badlands) 5-2. We were pretty disappointed with the badlands scoreline as their two points came from massive game play errors on our part where we basically gift wrapped them the points. All areas we can improve on though, and we still won so that's got to be a good thing. Big thanks to enixe for a great game as always pleasure to play against.
Our next official will either be wireplay week 2 or the first round of the etf2l cup. Either way were aiming to of played both by the end of next week.

Okay so we started playing again the other night for the first time in well over 3 weeks. Everyone was fine and still alive, unfortunately. After the usual e-drama and bollocks we tend to cultivate we actually managed to get a few games in. We should be okay for division 3 in season 7 if we try to play 3 games a night (which we do struggle to do nowadays). Luckily we have a good month to start playing more than 3hours a week!
Anyway recent events lead me to believe there's no bromance in this team any more :(
